Opening of Lincolnshire Road Victims Memorial

It was a wonderful day on Saturday 21st April at Westgate Woods near Boston, where Princess Diana's sister opened the new Memorial site for Lincolnshire Road Victims. Click here to view Neil & Maryjane's photos of the event. A DVD will also be produced.

Lincolnshire South Federation WI's Make, Bake & Show exhibition

Neil was invited to judge the photography section of the Make and Bake exhibition, and while there took some quick photographs of some of the lovely creative items on display. Click here to see the photos. The theme was "Winter Wonderland".

Rundles/Epton 2016 Open Day

What a brilliant time at the Annual Open Day. We had a special display featuring the Savage Fairground Engineers from Kings Lynn, and some wonderful exhibits turned up. From rare drawings, patent plates, organ engines, peep show engines and a delightful model of a Galloper engine, believed to have been built by Savage apprentices. Horncastle Flower Club

We were invited to give our presentation on Pantomimes to Horncastle Flower Club for their annual meal, and what a wonderful day it was. Many produced flower arrangements to support the Pantomime theme, and the food was amazing. No time to take proper photos, but here is a selection of snapshots.

Opening of Cherries by Hollyoaks Darren

Neil was invited to take the photographs of the surprise visit by Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson.

Actor Ashley Taylor Dawson , Darren in Hollyoaks and past Strictly 
Come Dancing contestant, came to Coningsby recently to open the new 
Wedding Room at Cherries Hair and Beauty Salon.
He met staff and customers, and saw the new room and new treatments 
which include 3D Lipo, which is a non invasive alternative to Lipo 
suction, which is now offered by the Salon. Click here to see the photos.

Boston Steam

Neil managed to catch locomotive Scots Guardsman passing through Boston on its return journey from Skegness to Derby on 25th September. Click here to see the photos. Prints available.

Boston Sinfonia 2016 at Boston Stump

Neil has photographed the special 20th Anniversary Concert held at St Botolph's Church on 11th June 2016.

Boston Speedway Reunion 2016

Many Boston Speedway riders from the last 40 years met together for a very special reunion. Neil Photographed the event and a sample of the photos can be seen here. There are over 100 more photos on the photo disc, all printable and in high definition and available from Neil. Rundles New Gallopers

Boston Engineers Rundles have just completed a new set of 3 abreast Gallopers. Neil was able to photograph the ride on it's final day of testing before being dismantled and delivered to Edinburgh in November for the Christmas season. Click here for the photos.

Great Dorset Steam Fair WW1 Experience

Just returned from 2 days at the Great Dorset Steam Fair, where for us the highlight was the  WW1 Experience.

What a brilliant display, with so much to see and the enactment groups giving explanations to make it all so real. Here are my photos - click here. The farmer has agreed to keep the trenches on his land for the 4 years of the commemorations, so book your visit for next year! 

Burton Corner WI celebrate in style

To celebrate the W.I. Centenary, Boston Burton Corner organised a cheese and wine evening with entertainment by the Ukulele Orchestra from Spalding. To see Neil's photographs of this excellent evening click here.

Rapunzel by BOS Musical Theatre Group, Blackfriars Theatre

BOS tackle a musical fairy tale written by Kei Bailey in the style of traditional Pantomime.

Make Believe - Theatre Performance Design Exhibition

This exhibition takes place every 4 years and displays the work of leading designers found in the diversity of performance design today. Neil's son James was selected as one of the 150 exhibitors. For Neil's photos of the exhibition click here.

The Boston Great War Commemoration Society Exhibition

Neil was invited to join this Society as Photographer and Document restorer and to produce display and publicity artwork. Although organised by only a small group of volunteers, the exhibition was a huge success. Now with future Heritage Lottery support, it has turned into a 4 year project, documenting Boston people's involvement in WW1.  For photos of the exhibition click here.

Cinderella pantomime at the Little Theatre, Leicester 2013

Here is a traditional family pantomime - Song and dance, plenty of laughs and audience participation, sparkling scenery and costumes. 24 sell out shows. Restoration of Traction Engine "Foremost"

Using old photographs from the Rundle collection, Neil enhanced and revealed the original artwork for this engine, which has been faithfully reproduced on this magnificent restoration project. Click here to see Neil's photos of the finished engine at the Lincolnshire Steam Rally.

Steam Returns to Boston

Holy Trinity Church Covenanter Reunion

Nearly 100 people from all parts of the country met together to celebrate the youth work of Boston's Holy Trinity Church Covenanters in the 1950's and 1960's. Click here to see Neil's photos from the day.

The King and I at Skegness

Skegness Musical Theatre Company presented The King and I at the Embassy Theatre March  14th-16th.

Katy Meadows and Trevor Fenton were well paired as Anna and the King. A wonderful, colourful, professional production, full of fun.  To see a selection of Neil's photos click here.
